LLOYDMINSTER — Update: On Jan. 16, police located Amanda Ironstand at a resident in Lloydminster. A search following her arrest revealed a baton and well as quantities of methamphetamine and fentanyl. She has additionally been charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, and two counts of failing to comply with release order.
Ironstand has been taken before a Justice of the Peace and remanded into custody with her next court date set for Jan. 19, at the Provincial Court of Saskatchewan in Lloydminster.
Original post: Police have issued an arrest warrant for a woman charged in connection with an assault reported on Dec. 26, 2025.
Lloydminster RCMP say they received a report of an assault at a home in. the 4400 block of 46 Street on the Saskatchewan side of Lloydminster. With assistance from the Lloydminster RCMP General Investigation Section and the Forensic Identification Section, officers executed a search warrant at the home as part of the investigation.
Police identified 40-year-old Amanda Ironstand as the suspect. She is charged with assault with a weapon, theft under $5,000, and forcible confinement.
Police attempts to locate Ironstand have been unsuccessful, and they are turning to the public for help.
Ironstand is described as having a medium complexion, is about 5-foot-5, and weighs about 166 pounds. She has tattoos on her hand, as well as tattoos on her neck and face. RCMP didn't provide a photo of Ironstand.
