REGINA–Its one of those days in the winter time, when you simply shouldn’t venture out onto the highways.
A combination of strong wind gusts and blowing snow is making driving treacherous, and difficult.
All highways in and out of Regina are closed this hour. Beyond that , travel is not recommended on highways to the north, going to places like Strasbourg, Raymore, Wynyard, Wadena and Kelvington to name a few.
The wind will slowly ease off as the day goes on, and the snow should taper off a little later today.
Until then, the best advice, is if you don’t have to be on the highways, its a better idea to stay put and wait out the storm.
If you do have to travel today, check the Highway Hotline for the latest information.
