SASKATOON — One man has been charged in relation to an incident that led to an officer-involved shooting in December 2025.
On Jan. 21, 2026, investigators charged the 25-year-old suspect in the investigation with attempted murder and uttering threats to cause death. The man remains in hospital in stable condition.
Within the criteria set out in The Police Act, 1990, the Saskatchewan Serious Incident Response Team (SIRT) is continuing to investigate. Further details will be provided by SIRT.
