REGINA — A 41-year-old man is facing charges after a break and enter at a business in Regina’s Germantown neighbourhood early Friday morning.
Police were called to the 1500 block of Winnipeg Street at about 5:05 a.m. on Jan. 23 for a report of a break and enter in progress. Officers say a suspect forced his way inside, stole a vehicle and took other items from the business.
Later that day, police found the stolen vehicle in the 1200 block of Athol Street. A man matching the suspect description was seen leaving a nearby alley and was arrested without incident.
He has been charged with break and enter to commit theft. He appeared in Regina Provincial Court on Jan. 26.
