UNITY — The Unity RCMP responded to the following calls during the week of Jan. 20 to 26.
RCMP received a complaint of fraud. This matter is still under investigation.
Police received a complaint of a suspicious individual near a residence. Members patrolled but could not locate the subject of complaint.
Members received a request to conduct a well-being check on a family member. The complainant cancelled the request after they located the subject of the complaint.
RCMP received a report of a vehicle driving into a ditch during a storm. Members transported the vehicle occupants to a local hotel for the night.
Police received a report of a two-vehicle collision in Unity. There were no injuries, and no charges were laid.
Members received a complaint of a hit and run causing damage to a vehicle. This matter is still under investigation.
RCMP initiated a traffic stop. The vehicle fled from police at a high rate of speed. Members patrolled but could not locate the subject of complaint. Vehicle information was sent to neighbouring detachments.
Members issued a 60-day roadside suspension during a traffic stop.
Police received a complaint of a break and enter at a residence, but it was unfounded.
There was also one false alarm.
