The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed Canadian defensive back and special teamer Kerfalla Exumé to a contract extension.
The six-foot, 195-pound Exumé initially signed with the Green and White in February last year. The Montreal native suited up for 18 regular season games in 2025, plus the Western Final and 112th Grey Cup. He's a special teams ace who made eight stops and forced one fumble, while adding four defensive tackles in his first year with the Riders.
Exumé was selected by Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the eighth round, 70th overall during the 2019 CFL Draft. He’s played 94 career regular season games between Winnipeg, the Montreal Alouettes, the Toronto Argonauts and Saskatchewan. The 31-year-old is a three-time Grey Cup Champion, winning in 2019 with the Bombers, 2024 with the Argos and in 2025 with the Roughriders.
Through his CFL career so far, Exumé has posted nine defensive tackles and 79 special teams tackles, including 25 special teams tackles in his first professional season with the Winnipeg, the second-best mark in the league that year.
Collegiately, Exumé played four seasons with the University of Montreal (2015-2018). He made 26 tackles, four pass breakups, two interceptions, and one forced fumble over 22 games.
