CRAIK, UNITY AND BIGGAR – Saskatchewan RCMP are investigating multiple break and enters in the Craik, Unity and Biggar detachment areas.
Between Jan. 5 and Jan. 8, 2026, Saskatchewan RCMP responded to several reports of break and enters in the Craik, Biggar, and Unity detachment areas.
The investigation determined a number of businesses and community centres in Davidson, Perdue, Biggar, and Unity were broken into over the four-day period. Property was damaged at the break-in locations due to forced entry, and cash was reported as stolen to police.
Saskatchewan RCMP continue to investigate these incidents and are working to determine whether some or all of them are connected.
As part of the investigations, Saskatchewan RCMP checked the areas surrounding the break-in locations for witnesses and video captured.
Unity RCMP collected footage of an individual, believed to be male, attempting to break into a building on 1 Avenue South in Unity at approximately 11:30 p.m. on Jan. 7. The suspect did not gain entry to the building. The suspect was seen wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, gloves, and a face covering. The male has a distinctive walk, taking short strides and slightly favouring his right foot.
Shortly after, a photo of a suspect, believed to be the same male, was captured during a break and enter at a community building on 7 Avenue East in Unity. A photo of the suspect is shown.
