The summer of inflation is underway, and Saskatchewan residents believe it’s the biggest issue facing the province.
A poll from the Angus Reid Institute found that 68 per cent of residents see inflation as a top-three issue in the province. Health care comes in second place, with 47 per cent seeing it as a top-three concern.
Residents also believe that Premier Scott Moe and the Saskatchewan Party government have poorly handled the cost of living (68%) and health care (66%).
Other issues residents see are the economy and jobs (31%), the deficit (26%) and energy (24%).

Despite the large portion of the province wanting better from Moe, the Saskatchewan Party holds a 23-point lead in vote intention, with 57 percent of those polled saying that they would vote for Moe and his Government with just 34 percent saying they plan to vote for Carla Beck and the NDP.
