SASKATOON — Police are investigating a series of connected assaults that left three men injured Saturday afternoon in the city’s north end.
Members of the Saskatoon Police Service Serious Assault Unit were called to the 700 block of Weldon Avenue around 4 p.m. on Jan. 31 after receiving a report that several people had forced their way into a home. Officers arrived to find a 37-year-old man suffering from injuries.
While police were still responding, a second report came in about another injured person nearby. A 35-year-old man was located with serious injuries and was taken to hospital long with the first victim.
A short time later, a 45-year-old man arrived at St. Paul’s Hospital seeking treatment for serious injuries that investigators believe are connected to the earlier incidents.
Police say all three incidents are believed to be related.
