The latest SJHL power rankings are out, and the week brought some big results.
Flin Flon stays number one, but their 11-game win streak ended Wednesday with an overtime loss in Weyburn. The Bombers had been dominant in the new year and in the middle of a tough stretch of four games in five nights on the road.
Battlefords is second. The North Stars keep scoring — averaging five-and-a-half goals per game in 2026 — but were knocked off Tuesday by a surging Melfort squad.
Weyburn remains at third and is one of the league’s hottest teams. The Red Wings followed a strong weekend by snapping Flin Flon’s streak in that overtime win.
Yorkton is fourth after a bounce-back 4–1 road win over Estevan on Wednesday. The Terriers continue to be one of the SJHL’s best road teams and have a heavy road schedule in the second half.
Nipawin sits fifth, rolling along while getting healthier and receiving big production from the back end.
Melville is sixth, still battling injuries but hanging onto a playoff spot thanks to steady goaltending and consistent compete, and are expected to return to close a full lineup heading into a pair of home games on weekend.
Estevan drops to seventh after the loss to Yorkton with a daunting eight of 10 games on the road in February, , while Melfort is eighth and gaining ground, highlighted by Tuesday’s win over Battlefords.
Kindersley is ninth after beating Humboldt Tuesday to stay in the playoff picture.
Humboldt is tenth, still young but working hard every night. Warman is 11th after a 5–4 win over La Ronge, and the Ice Wolves sit 12th as a young group continuing to develop.
