The latest SJHL power rankings are out, and the Flin Flon Bombers continue to set the pace.
Flin Flon remains number one, riding a seven-game winning streak and strengthening an already strong roster at the trade deadline with the additions of goaltender Charlie Tritt, forward Connor Miller, and defenceman Ryder Knutson.
Battlefords climbed into second, winning six straight games, including a historic 21-round shootout victory over Weyburn — the longest in league history.
Weyburn checks in third, followed by Nipawin at four, who continue to find ways to win despite injuries. Yorkton rounds out the top five after retooling its defence at the deadline and winning three of four out of the break including a dominant win over Estevan on Tuesday.
Estevan sits sixth, while Melville moves up to seventh with several key home games remaining this month. Kindersley is eighth, and Humboldt drops to ninth as its young roster continues to develop.
Melfort remains tenth and is running out of time in the playoff race, while Warman is eleventh and La Ronge twelfth, with both clubs focused on building toward the future.
