BATTLEFORDS — North Battleford community safety officers (CSOs) are on the look out for a vehicle that was travelling at an extremely high rate of speed, according to the city.
Just before 3 p.m. on Feb. 3, a silver Toyota Camry was observed travelling at a speed of 169 km/h in an 80 km/h zone on Highway 4 northbound by a North Battleford community safety officer.
The officer activated emergency lights and attempted to stop the Camry (estimated 2007-2009 model). However, the driver of the vehicle fled and turned onto Forest Hall Road. In the interest of safety, a pursuit did not take place.
The vehicle did not have a licence plate. Anyone with information pertaining to the owner and/or driver of this vehicle is asked to report details to the RCMP at 310-RCMP or CSOs at 306-445-1775.
