UNITY — The Unity RCMP responded to the following calls during the week of Jan. 27 to Feb. 2.
RCMP received a report of a vehicle fire in a rural area near Unity. Unity Fire Department extinguished the fire, which was not suspicious in nature.
CN Police reported a railway crossing malfunction near Senlac. Reported for information purposes.
Police received a report of an abandoned vehicle in the ditch near Unity. The vehicle was not stolen and was not a roadway hazard.
Members conducted a well-being check at the request of a family friend.
RCMP issued a 60-day roadside suspension during a traffic stop.
Police received a complaint of a hit and run causing damage to a vehicle. This matter is still under investigation.
Members received a complaint of a break and enter at a local church, but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.
RCMP received a complaint of an individual not complying with an undertaking condition. This matter is still under investigation.
CN Police reported a railway crossing malfunction near Tramping Lake. Reported for information purposes.
Police are investigating a complaint of an individual not complying with a probation order.
Members acted as mediators in a property dispute.
There were also five false alarms, one traffic complaint and one false 911 call.
