SASKATCHEWAN — Update: All the alerts for freezing rain have been ended.
Earlier report: Environment Canada has lifted yellow alerts freezing rain in parts of Saskatchewan, however some still remain as of 2 p.m.
At 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Buffalo Narrows, Candle Lake, La Ronge, Prince Albert National Park, Île à la Crosse and Beauval areas were experiencing freezing rain. Alerts for those areas are now lifted.
Alerts were also in place for areas south and east of there. Some of those were lifted as well, and remaining under alert are Saskatoon, Humboldt, Melfort and Tisdale, and the Canora, Yorkton, Melville area.
There are also areas under alerts for fog, especially in the southeast.
