SASKATOON — A 23-year-old man has been charged with refusing a breathalyzer and hit and run after police say he crashed into a fence and shed before fleeing in the Lawson Heights neighbourhood Sunday.
Saskatoon police say that just before 2:30 a.m. on Feb. 8, officers responded to a Honda Civic involved in the incident in the 100 block of Nokomis Crescent.
When police arrived, they found the vehicle with significant damage abandoned in the middle of the street. Police got a description of the suspect and arrested him a short distance away.
He was also ticketed for hit and run.
