SASKATOON — A man is recovering after he was stabbed during a confrontation at a home on Saskatoon’s west side late Tuesday night.
Police say they were called around 11:45 p.m. on Feb. 10 to St. Paul’s Hospital where a man had arrived suffering from a stab wound. Officers spoke with the victim and determined the assault had taken place at a residence in the 300 block of Avenue J South.
According to police, the man had been involved in a confrontation with individuals believed to be known to him. When officers went to the residence the suspects had already fled.
Members of the Serious Assault Unit are continuing to investigate.
