BIG ISLAND LAKE CREE NATION – Pierceland RCMP are asking the public to report sightings of Daylan Kahpeepatow.
On Feb. 9, Pierceland RCMP received a report of a male walking on Big Island Lake Cree Nation with a firearm. Pierceland RCMP police officers responded immediately, patrolling the street and gathering information to identify and locate the male.
They determined that the male was 31-year-old Daylan Kahpeepatow.
The suspect allegedly first pointed a firearm at one person and attempted to steal an ATV. He then was reported to have entered a residence and stole a phone from another person while carrying a firearm.
Pierceland RCMP are asking the public to report sightings and information on the whereabouts of 31-year-old Daylan Kahpeepatow. He also goes by the names of Dylan Kahpeepatow or Daylan Ochuschayoo.
Daylan Kahpeepatow is wanted on warrant by Pierceland RCMP for charges including robbery with a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and careless use of a firearm related to this incident.
Daylan Kahpeepatow is described as:
- Height: 5 ft 8 in
- Weight: 122 lbs
- Eye colour: brown
- Hair colour and style: long black hair
- Last seen wearing: black hat, blue jeans and a black and white coat

Daylan Kahpeepatow is known to travel to Big Island Lake Cree Nation, Island Lake First Nation, and Loon Lake in Saskatchewan, but his current whereabouts are unknown.
Pierceland RCMP continue to investigate.
If you see Daylan Kahpeepatow, do not approach him.
