REGINA — A 40-year-old Regina man is facing 31 charges after police linked him to a series of thefts and a robbery committed over the past year.
According to Regina Police Service, most of the thefts occurred at liquor stores in the city’s north end, though grocery retailers and other businesses across Regina were also targeted. The incident happened between February 2025 and Feb. 12, 2026.
One of the most serious allegations dates back to August 2025, when police were called to a business in the 1600 block of Dewdney Avenue. Investigators say a suspect entered the store, grabbed an item from a shelf and assaulted an employee before fleeing. That incident resulted in a robbery charge.
Investigators from the Regina Police Service Robbery Unit and Front-Line Support Unit reviewed hours of surveillance footage as they worked to determine who was responsible for these occurrences. Last night, the suspect was located and arrested by Patrol officers following a report of a theft at a business.
The accused, charged with robbery and three counts of theft under $5,000 appeared in Regina court on Feb. 12.
