PRINCE ALBERT — A 36-year-old Saskatoon man charged in a series of offences across northern Saskatchewan is scheduled to stand trial in June in Prince Albert Provincial Court.
Brennan Sewap was arrested on Dec. 23, 2025. At the time, he was wanted in connection with a robbery at a home on Muskoday First Nation earlier that month. Following his arrest, police laid 14 additional charges.
According to Prince Albert RCMP, officers located a wanted man driving a stolen vehicle in Prince Albert on Dec. 23 and requested assistance from Prince Albert Police Service. RCMP officers attempted a traffic stop, but the driver fled.
The Saskatchewan RCMP Warrant Enforcement Suppression Team later found the vehicle parked at a residence in Prince Albert. Prince Albert RCMP and Prince Albert Police Service secured the area.
Three people got out of the vehicle. Officers arrested two women, while the third person, the wanted man, ran from the scene. He was arrested after a brief foot chase.
A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of a loaded semi-automatic rifle and ammunition, drug trafficking paraphernalia, and three packages of a substance believed to be cocaine. Police say the substance will be sent to Health Canada for further testing.
Sewap was charged with flight from peace officer, dangerous driving, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, resist/obstruct peace officer, driving while prohibited, transport firearm in an unsafe manner, possession of a firearm when knowing possession unauthorized, possession of a firearm in a vehicle, weapons/firearms possession contrary to order, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

A 34-year-old woman from Southend faced several firearm-related and obstruction charges. Those charges have since been withdrawn.
Sarah Linklater, 31, of Pelican Narrows, was charged with possession of property obtained by crime, resisting or obstructing a peace officer, and multiple firearm-related offences. She didn’t appear for a scheduled court date on Feb. 11, and a bench warrant to hold was issued. Her matters were adjourned to March 3.
Earlier in December, RCMP released Sewap’s photo after receiving a report that a firearm had been discharged at a home on Muskoday First Nation. Investigators determined that three masked men forced their way into a home, discharged a firearm and bear mace, and pointed a gun at an occupant while demanding belongings, including a phone and wallet. No physical injuries were reported.
In that incident, Sewap was charged with robbery with a firearm, pointing a firearm, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, discharging a firearm while being reckless, administering a noxious substance, break and enter with intent, wearing a disguise with intent, possession of a firearm while unauthorized, and three counts of weapons possession contrary to an order.
