WATSON — Humboldt RCMP are reporting that road conditions in the area are deteriorating due to the weather.
Humboldt RCMP are reporting that there are poor conditions, including near-zero visibility, on Highway 6 from Watson to Raymore.
There are reports of a number of vehicles in the ditch and a semi across the highway. People are asked to avoid the area if possible and slow down if they must travel there.
Highway 20 between Humboldt and Lanigan was blocked earlier on Feb. 17. It’s now clear but officers report conditions are still very poor.
Saskatchewan RCMP remind the public that if travel is not essential, wait until road conditions along your route improve before driving. If travel is necessary, stay on roads that have recently received road maintenance. Travellers can access information on road conditions and track which roads have been plowed, salted, and/or sanded within the last two hours via Highway Hotline.
