REGINA — Four people are facing charges after a drug trafficking investigation led to a traffic stop in the Heritage neighbourhood and a search in the Normanview West area of Regina on Tuesday.
On Feb. 17, members of the Saskatchewan Trafficking Response Team (STRT Regina), assisted by the Human Trafficking and Counter Exploitation Unit (HTCEU Regina), the RPS Tactical Support Team, and RPS Canine Unit, conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Victoria Avenue.
All four occupants of the vehicle were arrested. Police then searched the vehicle and a home on Gilbert Crescent with a warrant issued under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA).
Police seized approximately 401 grams of fentanyl, 45 grams of methamphetamine, a machete, hatchet, a baton, and $18,135 cash.
As a result of the investigation, Fedia Gulden, 57, was charged with two counts of possession (meth and fentanyl) for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property valued over $5,000 obtained by crime.
Kaitlyn Delnea, 29, Bradley Lakeman, 40, and Shyanne Arcand, 40, were each charged with possession of fentanyl for the purpose of drug trafficking.
All four made their first appearance in Regina Provincial Court on Feb. 18.
