SANDY BAY — Sandy Bay RCMP have arrested a man wanted on multiple warrants for alleged crimes that occurred in Sandy Bay.
From Feb. 16 to 21, Sandy Bay RCMP received three reports — two thefts and one robbery — at the same business, as well as one break-in at a community facility.
As a result of the investigation, a 25-year-old man from Sandy Bay was charged with:

one count of robbery with a weapon;

three counts of theft under $5,000;

two counts of wearing a disguise with intent to commit an offence;

one count of uttering threats;

one count of break and enter with intent; and
-
one count of theft from mail under $5,000.
Multiple warrants for the accused’s arrest were issued.
On Feb. 23, investigators determined the suspect was in a home in Sandy Bay. Officers located him hiding in the residence and arrested him without incident.
He was also arrested on a number of outstanding warrants, including for assault and failing to comply with probation, related to incidents reported to Sandy Bay RCMP in 2025.
The accused has been remanded in custody until his next scheduled appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Feb. 25.
