SASKATOON — A woman smoking outside her downtown apartment was forced inside and confined during a robbery early Sunday morning.
Police say the incident happened around 12:15 a.m. on Feb. 22 in the 200 block of 2nd Avenue North. The woman told police that she was approached by three unknown individuals who demanded she go to her suite. Once, inside, the suspects confined the woman and her roommate to a room while they robbed the suite and took the keys to her vehicle.
The suspects fled in the victim’s vehicle, which was located nearby a short time later. Officers observed the suspects getting into a cab, conducted a traffic stop, and arrested them without incident.
Two women, ages, 31 and 32, and a 26-year-old man are charged with kidnapping, unlawful confinement, break and enter, robbery, and theft of a vehicle.
