PRINCE ALBERT — A 26-year-old man charged with second-degree murder in the death of Wayne Keller, 39, appeared in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Feb. 19.
William Hunt-Charles was remanded and his matter adjourned to March 23 when he is expected to enter an election.
Keller was Prince Albert’s third homicide victim of 2025. Police responded at about 3:30 p.m. on July 29, 2025, to the 1500 block of 5th Avenue East for a report of a deceased man.
Hunt-Charles was arrested in December 2025 by Prince Albert Police Service Major Crimes at the Prince Albert Correctional Centre, where he was in custody on unrelated matters. In addition to the murder charge, he was charged with possessing a firearm and ammunition while prohibited.
