Whitewood EMS and fire crews responded after a car hit a moose Tuesday night on the Trans Canada.

Two people inside the vehicle, which had substantial damage, were treated at the scene, the yearling moose was killed.

It’s the second time in a month the Whitewood fire department has responded to an accident involving a moose.
