Hospitals of Regina Foundation unveils new $1.1M grand-prize home and new partnership

The Hospitals of Regina Foundation is launching the 2019 Fall Home Lottery with a grand prize of another $1.1-million home in The Creeks.

The foundation says not only does the fall edition come with cash, trip and cottage prizes, but there is also a special partnership this year.

President and CEO Dino Sophocleous says this year they are partnering with Mosaic for a $2-million match campaign. “We will match our community support, including our full lottery, up to $1-million. So Mosaic will match all donations and all revenue through the lottery up to $1-million.”

All the money raised this year will be going towards upgrading technology and equipment in Regina’s General Hospital’s cardiac catheterization lab.

“This way colleagues will be able to actually fix you up without actually opening you up,” adds Sophocleous.

Interventional Cardiologist Dr. Jeff Booker says all the technology used is crucially important to work safely and to get good outcomes for patients. “Having the right technology to bring the latest innovations in to serve our patients is huge. If the room is broken down we are in big trouble so this will be a tremendous boost for us.”

Tickets for this fall’s lottery are $100 each, three-packs for $250, five-packs for $375 and super packs for $525. There is also a 50/50 add-on as well.
