Regina man arrested after Saturday morning robbery

Regina police have arrested a 25-year-old man following a robbery at a business on Saturday morning.

Officers were sent to a business at around 8:10 a.m. to the 3500 block of 5th Avenue after a report of a robbery. The suspect threatened staff with a weapon while demanding cash and merchandise.

Police say tips from a witness helped locate the suspect near 5th Avenue and Montague Street where he was arrested and charged. The weapon, along with the stolen items, were recovered by police.

25-year-old Matthew Leslie John Bumphrey will make his first court appearance at 9:30 a.m. on November 18.
