NDP levels sharp criticism at Moe government for handling of pandemic

The NDP continues with sharp criticism of the Moe government’s handling of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Opposition health critic Vicki Mowat says both the personal and business restrictions and vaccine roll-out have been confusing.

She says “These variants are highly contagious and far more harmful than the original COVID-strain. The facts on the ground are changing daily. We need to be nimble and proactive in combating this virus”

Health minister Paul Merriman says the province leads the nation in vaccine roll-out with 300 thousand people vaccinated.

He says Saskatchewan has administered 89 percent of the vaccines received so far with 120 clinics across the province.

Merriman says the NDP seems to be the group which is most confused by the vaccine program.
