  • All-Time Record-Tonight marks the 241st matchup between the Roughriders and Stampeders. Calgary leads the series 137-94-9.
  • All the Marbles– If Saskatchewan wins tonight, they will clinch the final playoff spot in the CFL Western Division.
  • Dickenson Bowl X– This game will mark the 10th time Roughriders head coach Craig Dickenson will meet his brother, Dave Dickenson, the head coach of the Calgary Stampeders in the regular season. Dave holds the advantage in the head to head matchup (8-2). But both of Craig’s wins have come at McMahon Stadium. The Roughriders also beat the Stampeders in the 2021 Western Semi-Final.
  • Road Blues- Saskatchewan’s last road win this season came against Calgary earlier this season (June 24/2023). They’ve dropped their last six games away from Mosaic Stadium.
  • Home Away From Home-The Roughriders have won four of their last seven at McMahon Stadium.
  • Close Margin- Both matchups between the Roughriders and Stampeders have been decided by three or less points, with Saskatchewan a total advantage of 60-59.
  • Jake vs Jake– Calgary’s Jake Maier is 3-1 against Saskatchewan as the Stamps starting QB. Riders QB Jake Dolegala will be making his first start against Calgary.
  • Below Standard- Whichever team finishes third this season in the Western Division, will have a below .500 record. That hasn’t happened in the West since 2015.
  • Big Loss- Stamps will be without WR Reggie Begelton, who leads the CFL with targets (116) and receptions (82).
  • Tackling Elite- Riders LB Larry Dean is two tackles short of his third 100+ tackle season. Only six other players have accomplished that feat in the CFL.
