Unseasonably warm weather has hit a large swatch of Saskatchewan, sending temperatures soaring for this time of year and creating mucky streets in communities everywhere. The warm up has also prompted various fog advisories for the province over the past few days and new weather records were set according to Environment Canada.

Other communities to see new records were Rockglen, reaching 7.2 (1.2 degrees warmer than its 1993 record) and Prince Albert climbed to 6.4C on Wednesday, smashing it’s previous record of 4.4C set in 1995.
