Prairie Mountain Health continues to assess the damage at the Dauphin Regional Health Centre, in the wake of unprecedented flooding on July 1.
In a release, PMH says it is working with electrical and mechanical consultants, as well as insurers to determine the full extent of the damage, while clean-up of the basement continues, with comprehensive assessments underway.
Once the final reports are complete, PMH can look at determining a timeline for recovery and restoration of the Dauphin Hospital.
Prairie Mountain Health says its main focus at this time is getting community-based health care services, such as lab and diagnostic services back up and running, as close to Dauphin as possible, with a goal of keeping service disruptions to a minimum, while providing those services as locally as possible.
