Ag in Motion returns July 21st to 23rd near Langham, SK and 620 CKRM will once again be broadcasting from the event in the International Rural Exchange Canada Broadcast Centre. The event takes place along highway 16 at range road 3083 and runs from 8:30am to 4:30pm Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Admission is $25, kids 12 and younger are free, and parking is free.
Some of the highlights include:
Tractor and spayer demos starting at 8:30am each day. Farmers can get into the equipment and operate it themselves with an expert on hand.
Drone demos at 8:30am and 1:30pm each day.
Antique tractor pulls from 3pm to 4pm each day.
Grain truck ride and drive starting at 8:30am each day.
The Field of STARS fundraising gala at Prairieland Park featuring Michelle Wright on Tuesday, July 21st. Doors open at 5pm.
Various crop plots throughout the site where experts will describe the traits and characteristics of new varieties of crops.
The AgTech Breakfast on Wednesday morning at 8:30 will be held at the Special Events Tent. Wendesday’s breakfast will feature discussions on the latest innovations and technology in the ag sector.
The AgTech Breakfast on Thursday morning at 8:30 will include discussions around the ideas and concepts for agriculture that are less about commerialization and more about AgTech startups, key stakeholders, and farmers.
Livestock handling demos at 10am and 1pm each day.
