Another court appearance has been made by a man, arrested following an armed confinement and assault on the Kahkewistahaw First Nation.
On May 27, Broadview RCMP received a report that a woman was being held against her will by an armed man at a residence at Kahkewistahaw.
Investigators say the woman was assaulted and threatened with a firearm, while being prevented from leaving the residence.
44-year-old Anthony Kinistino was in Broadview Provincial Court July 29, where he was remanded in custody to Aug. 12.
