Just as old as CKRM
The prairie weather might have been a little dreary in Windthorst, but nothing could dampen the incredible the spirit of our latest 620 CKRM Country Cookout!
We had the absolute pleasure of pulling into the yard to treat Larry & Pat Highmoor and their guests to a first-class harvest break. We started the harvest experience with a mouthwatering, fully catered feast from Nicky’s Cafe & Catering, alongside ice-cold refreshments, great prizes, and fantastic live music. I had pleasure of broadcasting from the heart of the action, in Windthorst to celebrate the resilience, hard work, and neighborly bonds that keep small-town Saskatchewan thriving during the harvest push.
A massive thank you goes out to Larry and his crew for the unforgettable hospitality, and to our phenomenal sponsors who make these possible. It’s days like today that remind us why 620 CKRM is proud to be the true voice of the province!
