A child exploitation charge has been laid against a Melville resident.
22-year-old Kody Bassingthwaite made his first court appearance Sept. 21, on a charge of possession of child abuse and exploitation material, and he was released on conditions, to appear in Melville Provincial Court on Oct. 19.
The charge comes after the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit executed a search warrant at a Melville residence on Aug. 6, in which they examining and seizing electronic devices.
