Over the past few days Country Thunder Saskatchewan has been hinting at who their next big headliner will be by displaying pink signs and pink social media posts. It’s caused a lot of specualtion as to who it’ll be and as of Thursday morning, fans now know the answer.
“We are on cloud nine to announce that Megan Moroney is our 2027 Sunday night headliner,” stated Megan Benoit of Country Thunder.
Moroney’s career took off in 2022 with the release of her debut single “Tennessee Orange,” which shot to #3 on the Canadian Country Chart and #4 in the US. In 2023 she was named the ACMA New Female Artist of the Year, the New Artist of the year at the 2024 CMA’s, and walked away with the Album of the Year Award at the 2026 American Music Awards for “Cloud 9.”
“The fans of hers are so passionate and so excited and they’ve travelled for her shows and now they don’t have to because she’s coming right here to Saskatchewan,” smiled Benoit.

Megan Moroney has teamed up with doll maker, American Girl, for a special line inspired by her fashion. The collection includes a stage outfit, the fan fashion outfit, concert ready accessories, VIP accessories, and the guitar and mic stand playset. Moroney says she, too, grew up playing with American Girl dolls.
Country Thunder Saskatchewan will be July 8th to 11th, 2027 in Craven with tickets on sale now. The early bird ticket deadline ended Wednesday night, however tickets are still available in the platinum circle, platinum seating, weekend gold seating, gold circle, and weekend general admission. Camping and parking passes are also available.
More performer announcements will be made in the coming weeks and months for Country Thunder Saskatchewan 2027.
The 2026 lineup included Riley Green, Lainey Wilson, Creed, Cameron Whitcomb, Robyn Ottolini, and more.
