A new study of IQ results shows Canada is among the ten most educated countries in the world. The study, which was put together by the Organization For Economic Co-operation and Development and Programme for International Student Assessment, ranked Canada as the 10th most educated population out of 80 countries.
The rankings are based on the skills, knowledge, and IQ scores of 15-year-old children from around the world. Not only did the results show impressive education levels in the country, it also indicated Canada is becoming an attractive country for scientists and researchers to work in.
While Canada still has room to improve, the study says Canadians are good problem solvers, scientifically minded, and digitally savvy.
The top 10 most educated countries, according to the data, are:
10) Canada
9) New Zealand
8) United Kingdom
7) Denmark
6) Japan
5) Taiwan
4) Australia
3) South Korea
2) Switzerland
1) Singapore
The United States was ranked 18th on this year’s global intelligence list.
