Western Canadian Wheat Growers hopeful for road infrastructure in Saskatchewan budget

 

The province’s spending plans will be released Wednesday in a scaled-back budget release.

The Premier has hinted at more funding for roads, hospitals and schools.

Western Canadian Wheat Growers chair Jim Wickett says farmers need adequate road infrastructure to move their product to market.

The Premier has also hinted at more support for irrigation and Wickett approves of better water management.

The spending estimates will be released at 2 pm and 620 CKRM will have full details.
